There is a tendency of those of us on a #spiritual path to look up and out for spiritual connection. Praying to some savior for something better to occur, for money to appear, for a better version of ourselves to take shape.
We pray to escape the pain or discomfort that life ultimately deals us, because we’re here to experience only joy and ease- right?
That’s not a bad place to start, because to pray is to acknowledge that there are other forces at play, beyond your little egoic self.
But this easily becomes a scapegoat for leaning into life, for FEELING the discomfort and inquiring about its roots.
The next step on the #spiritual path is to go down and IN to your experience. To see EVERY experience and person as a door to God. To thank the ones who deal you the most difficult lessons because they are reflecting where you have work to do.

Let others know that they don’t need to fear the darkness. That there is life after death 💀.
