200hr YTT - Channels of Healing

Join Andrea Spacek (Yoga Teacher, Thai Massage Therapist, Jungian Life Coach, Sacred YOUnion Facilitator) and Melissa Scharlach (Yoga Teacher, Sound Healing Facilitator, Musician, Reiki Practitioner, Singer, Bodyworker) for this one-of-a-kind 200-Hr Yoga Teacher Training focused on the healing power of Yoga, Sound, and Touch.

This Yoga Alliance Accredited Teacher Training will not only teach you how to instruct and intuitive Yoga Class.  Melissa and I take our 40+ years of combined experience and show you everything we know – and how to be an authentic, creative, channel of healing for yourself and others.

This is also an incredible experience for anyone wanting to go deeper in their capacities as a human being, a yogi/ni, a healer, or a steward of the planet. We will explore the power of asana, meditation, sound, touch, and deepening our connection to the subtle body and realms inside the studio and out in nature.

The summer months lend themselves to ample opportunities for river excursions, and trips to local power spots where the land and waters speak loudly with their medicine. Be ready for magical adventures!

Melissa and I are thrilled to bring you a Yoga Teacher Training that offers an approach to teaching yoga that supports the expression and skill of healers, lightworkers, and earth guardians. We bring you a training that teaches you to lead from the center of your heart, for the benefit of humanity and the planet.

Grounded in the science and teachings of Yoga, Ayurveda, Alchemy, Tantra, and Sound, you will leave with tools to create classes and experiences that offer powerful medicine for yourself and your students.

Skills that you will hone throughout this 4-month training include:​

• Foundations of Teaching Yin, Flow, and Hatha Yoga
• Therapeutic Assists
• Postural Alignment
• Energetic Alignment and Sequencing
• Creating and holding sacred space
• Guided Visualizations
• Chanting and Mantras for Healing
• Sound Bowl Healing
• Integrating drumming into classes

This 200-hr RYT YTT is Yoga Alliance Certified training, and can be counted toward CEUs for Yoga Teachers and Bodyworkers.

Training weekends are held bi-weekly, beginning August 1st, on Saturdays and Sundays 7am-5pm at East Wind Yoga Auburn.

Meetup Schedule:

Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 - October 27th, 2024

Over the course of the training, we will meet at the East Wind Yoga Auburn every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7am-4pm on the following dates:

• August 3-4th
• August 17-18th
• August 31-Sept 1st
• September 14-15th
• September 28-29th
• October 12-13th

​

In between training weekends, we will meet via zoom on Thursdays at 4-5pm.

​

You will also receive online learning via pre-recorded video lessons and practices to study at home.

There will also be a closing 4-Day closing retreat on the following dates (Pricing included): Thursday, October 24 - Sunday 27th, 2024 at a location TBA!
